Getting Their Little Feet Wet will EMPOWER parents with the skills they need to EFFECTIVELY & CONFIDENTLY interact with their child in and around water.

Introducing your child to water and getting them prepared for independent swimming lessons does not need to be something parents are afraid of or something that causes undo stress and anxiety. These things can be done in a way that is fun and provides a bonding experience, based on trust AND it can be effective and ensure a child is learning the foundational skills needed to enjoy the water and be SAFE for life.

Water safety & survival skills

On land and in the water, covering survival swimming skills like back floats, front floats and rolling over to breathe. All done with a "no submersion necessary" philosophy.

Foundational skill progressions

Our course provides the knowledge and age appropriate techniques from infancy until preschool age. You’ll be shown different levels of progressions so we meet your child where they are at today.

Resources & community

You’ll have an opportunity to ask Miss Dayna questions in a private Facebook group for a period of time. You’ll also have the chance to meet other families to share success stories.

Meet Miss Dayna

Dayna Harvey, known to her swim kids as Miss Dayna, began swimming competitively at age 5. At age16, she completed the Water Safety Instructors (WSI) course through the Canadian Red Cross and became certified to teach swimming lessons. After moving from her home in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to Roanoke, VA, she recertified through the American Red Cross. Currently, Miss Dayna teaches foundational, fundamental and life saving swimming skills to 250 children each week. Dayna specializes in working with parents who have young children, providing programs that focus on water safety and how to confidently and effectively interact with their children in the water.

Miss Dayna has helped thousands of parents ensure their child is comfortable, confident and SAFE around water.
